What is “Intractable Pain”?
Intractable pain is a pain state in which the cause cannot be determined or eliminated. In the generally accepted course of medical practice, this is a variety of pain for which no relief or cure is currently available. If following our rigorous evaluation and treatment regiment your pain still does not go away, you may be suffering from intractable pain. If this is the case, we will work with you to provide you with the most effective ways of managing your pain condition.
What should I bring to my appointment?
You should bring the following items to your appointment:
•Your insurance card
•Physician referral forms if required by insurance
•A list of current prescriptions and/or over the counter medication you are taking including dose and frequency
•Pertinent information about your medical and surgical history
•Recent X-rays, or appropriate records that you may have
